چکیده
The direct detection of continuous gravitational waves from pulsars is a much anticipated discovery in the emerging field multi-messenger wave (GW) astronomy. Because putative pulsar signals are exceedingly weak large amounts data need to be integrated achieve desired sensitivity. Contemporary searches use ingenious ad-hoc methods reduce computational complexity. In this paper we provide analytical expressions for Fourier transform realistic signals. This provides description manifold domain, used by many search methods. We analyze shape and explicit formulas location size peaks resulting stationary frequencies. apply our analysis recently identified outlier at 1891.76 Hz.

Blandford’s argument: The strongest continuous gravitational wave signal
For a uniform population of neutron stars whose spin-down is dominated by the emission of gravitational radiation, an old argument of Blandford states that the expected gravitational-wave amplitude of the nearest source is independent of the deformation and rotation frequency of the objects. Recent work has improved and extended this argument to set upper limits on the expected amplitude from n...
متن کاملSignal recognition: Fourier transform vs. Cosine transform
A new feature representation approach, the simultaneous usage of the real and imaginary Fourier components with taking into account the covariance between these components, was compared with the Cosine transform approach for Gaussian recognition. 2003 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
متن کاملThe Fourier Transform and the Wave Equation
We solve the Cauchy problem for the n-dimensional wave equation, where n is an odd integer, using elementary properties of the Fourier transform. We also show that the solution can be obtained by invoking Bessel functions. The wave equation has a rich history fraught with controversy, both mathematical, see [9], and physical, see [16]. It all started in 1747 when d’Alembert, in a memoir present...
متن کاملWindowing Effects of Short Time Fourier Transform on Wideband Array Signal Processing Using Maximum Likelihood Estimation
During the last two decades, Maximum Likelihood estimation (ML) has been used to determine Direction Of Arrival (DOA) and signals propagated by the sources, using narrowband array signals. The algorithm fails in the case of wideband signals. As an attempt by the present study to overcome the problem, the array outputs are transformed into narrowband frequency bins, using short time Fourier tran...
